The Journey so Far
Welcome. I’m Christina, and I’m so glad you’re here.
To be honest, it’s been a wild ride getting to this point, and I’d like to share how Root of the Soul came to life.
After experiencing a traumatic event, I developed PTSD and turned to alcohol to cope. It became a painful, self-sabotaging cycle that left me disconnected from myself and my purpose. With time, grace, and a lot of inner work, I found the strength to get sober and began to truly face the emotional, physical, and spiritual pain I had long avoided.
Yoga had been part of my life for over a decade, but it wasn’t until this chapter that I truly experienced its power to heal. I found solace in the same place I found my pain. That I could heal, even when I still felt anger, pain, and grief.
That healing journey inspired Root of the Soul.
Here, we embrace the transformative power of yoga through mindful movement, meditation, and breath awareness. On my classes page you will find the different classes I currently offer but there are a number of new offerings coming soon. I’m also working towards building a digital library of classes through YouTube, and expanding my studies into trauma-informed healing.
Whether you’re just beginning your journey or continuing down your path, I’m honored to share this space with you. I look forward to supporting you as you reconnect, release, and return to the root of your soul.
